Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a woman at Cooper St in Brookshire, TX on October 17th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:48 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 operated by a 81-year-old Brookshire man was reversing out of a parking stall before striking an unoccupied vehicle. Following this, the vehicle traveled forward, crashing into the store ahead and striking a 23-year-old Magnolia woman on the sidewalk ahead. The woman suffered serious injuries, reports say. The Brookshire man was not injured, according to police. A Failure to Control Speed citation was recommended and/or issued.
