Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a woman at Esperanza Crossing and Burnet Rd in Austin, TX on July 16th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:56 a.m. According to investigators, a Nissan operated by a 40-year-old Pflugerville woman was headed northbound on Burnet Rd when it collided with a pedestrian under unclear circumstances. The pedestrian, a 26-year-old Georgetown woman, suffered serious injuries in the collision. Reports indicate the Pflugerville woman was charged with DWI.
