Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured State Hwy 349 in Midland, TX on August 20th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 1:56 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 36-year-old man was eastbound  in a private drive while stopped. Headed northbound traveling via a bicycle was a 51-year-old pedestrian. Authorities allege the bicyclist was attempting to cross the private drive as the vehicle attempted to go southbound, the two vehicles colliding in the process. The bicyclist, a 51-year-old woman, suffered suspected serious injuries in the collision. Additional information was not immediately available.
