Denton Police are investigating a crash that injured a child at University Dr in Denton, TX on April 12th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:33 p.m. Officials say it involved a pickup and sedan colliding. Officials allege the pickup truck struck sedan, for unknown reasons, which caused the sedan to collide with a nearby power pole. A 28-year-old female occupant of the sedan died from her injuries. A 10-year-old child in the vehicle was hospitalized with serious injuries while the driver, age 62, had less serious injuries. The driver of the pickup truck, an unidentified male, was not injured.
