Area authorities are investigation a crash that killed a woman at Bissonnet St in Houston, TX on November 14th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 1:10 p.m. Officials say a GMC Sierra made a left turn onto eastbound Bissonnet from Rampart. Crossing the road northbound on Rampart was a 50-year-old woman who was on-foot. Authorities say the GMC struck the woman as she was crossing, leaving her with serious injuries. Reports say she was taken to an area hospital where she later died from her injuries. Police say the truck operator remained at the scene and was believed to not be impaired.
