Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at Brazoswood Dr in Clute, TX on March 1st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4:13 a.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Charger operated by 21-year-old Isaac Martinez was headed eastbound on Brazoswood Dr when it veered from the road at a curve. It then veered from the road into a utility box and a tree. Martinez suffered serious injuries while his 21-year-old passenger suffered fatal injuries. Records show Martinez was charged with Intoxication Manslaughter with Vehicle.
