Houston Police are investigating a collision that killed a woman at Fondren Rd in Houston, TX on September 29th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 3:50 a.m. According to investigators, an Infiniti G35 headed southbound is said to have struck a curb for unclear reasons. Following the initial impact, authorities say the vehicle struck a tree and a light pole, ejecting both the driver and a passenger from the vehicle before it caught fire. Police say both were taken to an area hospital with injuries the passenger later died from. The 34-year-old driver was seriously injured, reports say. Additional information was not available.
