What Happened

Dallas Police are looking into a crash that killed a woman at  I-45 near Loop 12 in Dallas, TX on December 20th, 2021. They say it happened around 4:35 a.m. A vehicle headed northbound is said to have allegedly been attempting to pass another vehicle when it collided with a parked SUV. The SUV was blocking traffic for construction road crews and was being used as a security vehicle for a retired officer. The woman in the SUV died at the scene. The retired officer was hospitalized in stable condition. Additional information was not provided.
