Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman at Shaver St and Galveston Rd in Houston, TX on June 18th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9:30 p.m. According to investigators, a passenger vehicle is said to have somehow crashed into a utility pole under unclear circumstances. The impact partially ejected the driver from the vehicle and caused a tire from the vehicle to struck a nearby vehicle. It also caught fire and officials say witnesses at the scene were able to pull the driver, an unidentified adult female, from the vehicle. She suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
