What Happened

Dallas Police are investigating a crash that led to the death of a woman at South Walton Walker Blvd in Dallas, TX on July 16th, 2022. Officials are saying it happened when a GMC Sierra veered from the road into a shoulder lane. In the shoulder lane was an unidentified 30-year-old male and two women who were standing near a disabled vehicle. One of the women died at the scene after the vehicle struck she and the unidentified male. The man was taken to an area hospital in unknown condition. The driver of the GMC, 33-year-old Jesus Espinoza, was later arrested on an intoxication assault charge after previously leaving the scene. Reports also say charges for intoxication manslaughter and accident involving serious bodily injury were also issued.
