Police say the incident happened around 10:56 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 52-year-old driver was eastbound on Schwartz Rd before allegedly failing to yield before backing without safety to turn around. The vehicle collided with a Chevrolet Trax operated by a 66-year-old woman who was not publicly identified. The Chevrolet went into a spin before traveling into a barrow ditch before catching fire.
