What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman at Winkler Dr in Houston, TX on August 3rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11:30 p.m. A passenger sedan reportedly veered into oncoming traffic under unclear circumstances and collided with a pickup truck. The driver and the passenger car and a passenger were hospitalized with injuries that the passenger later died from. The driver of the pickup truck was treated for minor injuries. Investigators say the passenger car driver is suspected of being intoxicated and that alcohol containers were found inside the vehicle.
