What Happened

Houston Police are searching for a driver in connection with a hit-and-run collision at West Airport Blvd in Houston, TX on October 7th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12:05 a.m. A Chevrolet Impala was headed westbound near Airport Blvd when it is said to have run a red light at the intersection with Bob White Drive. An unidentified 50-year-old woman was reportedly jaywalking in the roadway and was struck by the Impala which fled the scene without rendering aid. The woman was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries that she passed away from on November 5th.
