Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a woman at Loop 336 in Conroe, TX on November 17th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:34 a.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Rav4 operated by 34-year-old Christopher Stormer was westbound on Loop 336. As it traveled, police say a 61-year-old pedestrian pushing a shopping cart was all westbound in an outside lane. Reports say the vehicle struck the woman, who was thrown into the air and landed in a nearby hospital driveway. The woman, who was not publicly identified, died at the scene, police say. Police also allege Stormer was uninjured and reports show charges for Failure to Stop and Render Aid and DWI were recommended and/or issued. Additional information was not available.
