What Happened

Dallas Police are investigating a pedestrian accident at Oak Lawn Ave and Maple Ave in Dallas, TX on December 4th, 2021. They say that it happened just before midnight. An unidentified woman crossing outside a crosswalk at an intersection was struck by a 2012 Volkswagen turning onto Maple Ave. The woman was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries the she later died from. Investigators say the driver did remain at the scene for police.
