Harris County Sheriff's Office authorities are investigating a pedestrian accident at Veterans Memorial Drive in Harris County, TX on May 31st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 3:15 a.m. According to investigators, a pedestrian standing in or near a southbound lane of travel was struck by an approaching Toyota Camry. The pedestrian, an adult female, suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Investigators say they do not suspect the driver of the Toyota of being intoxicated and had no additional information to share.
