Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman at Southwest Freeway in Houston, TX on June 8th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2 a.m. According to investigators, a Lincoln MKZ was headed southbound when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle lost control. Police say it struck two road signs and in the process, the driver and her 2-year-old child, were both ejected from the vehicle. The woman, who was not publicly identified, suffered fatal injuries. Investigators say the 2-year-old and two other children in the vehicle were all hospitalized with suspected minor injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
