What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at FM 447 in Victoria County, TX on November 7th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 3:30 p.m. Police say a commercial truck traveling southwest on FM 447 allegedly crossed a center line before entering on the opposite side of the roady. From there, police say the vehicle collided with an approaching GMC Sierra. Reports indicate the possibility the commercial truck fishtailed after traveling over a hump in the roadway prior to the crash. Police say both the driver of the GMC, identified as 30-year-old John Armstrong and 42-year-old commercial truck operator, Yonatan Jonguitud, were seriously injured.
