What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured multiple people at Belt Line Rd and Oak St Grand Prairie, TX on July 25th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3:01 a.m. A Chevrolet Silverado operated by a 24-year-old Grand Prairie man reportedly was traveling in the wrong direction when it collided head-on with another Chevrolet Silverado operated by 24-year-old Yonathan Padilla Macias. After the collision, the Grand Prairie man fled the scene on foot before being later apprehended and arrested for Intoxication Assault and Failure to Stop and Render Aid. Macias and two of his passengers were seriously injured. An additional passenger was treated for less seriously injuries.
