What Happened

Authorities in Brazoria County, TX, are investigating a fatal head-on collision that occurred on February 18, 2025, at approximately 5:58 p.m. on State Highway 36. A Cadillac SRX was traveling southeast when it veered into the opposite lane and collided with a Ford Explorer traveling northwest. The crash resulted in fatal injuries to the 53-year-old occupant of the Cadillac, Gardy Odom, who was pronounced dead at 2:25 a.m. the following morning.
