Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured a driver at FM 45 in San Saba, TX on August 7th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 5:57 p.m. A Ford F-150 operated by 26-year-old Zachary Glen Curtis Patterson reportedly veered from the road and began to attempt to correct back. It veered into and out of a ditch before eventually overturning, causing Patterson serious injuries. Officers say Patterson admitted to consuming 5 beers prior to the collision. He was issued charges for Failure to Drive in Single Lane, Ride Not Secured By Safety Belt and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility.
