Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at 7th St and McCrosky Rd in Bay City, TX on April 29th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 11:22 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 29-year-old Zachary Herrera was headed westbound at an alleged high rate of speed when it was reportedly witnessed veering into oncoming traffic. From there the vehicle is said to have veered into a shoulder and traveled through grass before overturning several times. Herrera was ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
