Area authorities have information related to a crash that injured three people at  TX 46 and Avery Pkwy in New Braunfels, TX on April 27th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 9:24 p.m. A Chevrolet S10 operated by an unidentified 26-year-old New Braunfels man was traveling in the wrong direction when it collided head-on with an Acura TL operated by 21-year-old Zackary Joseph Ruben Zavala. The impact caused the S10 to overturn, seriously injuring both drivers. A passenger in the S10 was less seriously injured. Police issued a charge of Intoxication Assault against the Chevrolet driver.
