Area authorities have information on a crash that injured a person at I-20 in Abilene, TX on September 20th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:47 a.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 3500 operated by a 31-year-old Rock Point, AZ man was headed westbound on I-20 approaching a posted yield sign. The vehicle is said to have failed to yield, colliding with a Chevrolet Spark operated by 20-year-old Zavery Bleeker. Bleeker was seriously injured in the collision while two passengers in the Dodge suffered minor injuries. The Rock Point man was not injured and police recommended and/or issued a Failure to Yield Right Way charge.
