What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at I-15 near Holden, UT on December 9th, 2024. Police say the incident happened sometime around 7:30 a.m. According to reports, a semi-truck is alleged to have lost control on an ice-covered roadway causing it to strike a nearby cable barrier, blocking multiple lanes of travel. Three other approaching vehicle are said to have collided with the trailer potion of the truck, one person involved, identified as 22-year-old Conner Young, suffering fatal injuries. Four others were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Authorities did not have additional information available.
