Utah Highway Patrol officials have identified the child killed in a collision at Woodchuck Way and Quail Run Dr in Sandy, UT on May 3rd, 2022. They say 5-year-old Kate Peterson died following injuries sustained from being struck by a USPS truck. Investigators say Peterson was playing on a scooter as the truck turned from Woodchuck Way. They add that the USPS truck driver has been cooperate with the investigation thus far. Additional information was not immediately available.
