What Happened

Utah Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash at I-15 in Davis County, UT on June 29th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8:30 p.m. A Ford F-250 operated by 38-year-old Myron Millsap Barlow reportedly collided with the rear of a Toyota Prius. The Prius, which had been slowing due to a vehicle ahead dropping cargo, then crashed into a Malibu. The man and woman in the Prius died at the scene. Police say that Barlow smelled of alcohol at the scene and that testing showed that his blood alcohol level was nearly three times higher than the legal limit. He was subsequently charged with multiple counts of DUI, automobile homicide and driving with an open container.
