What Happened

Warsaw Police are investigating a crash that killed three people at Wayne Ave in Stuarts Draft, VA on August 12th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8 p.m. Investigators are saying a passenger van with four occupants was struck by a Norfolk Southern train under uncle circumstances. Reports say the van overturned, ejecting three of its four occupants. Killed in the incident were 48-year-old Abner Comete, 44-year-old Jacner Comete and 38-year-old Wilda Comete. A fourth passenger, identified as Ronide Louis, was hospitalized with serious injured, reports say. Additional details were not available.
