State Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at James Madison Hwy in Fluvanna County, VA on June 6th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10 a.m. According to investigators, a southbound Toyota Tacoma is alleged to have lost control at a curve in the road. This caused the vehicle to cross into a northbound lane where it collided head-on with a semi-truck. The semi-truck was forced from the road into a ditch before overturning in the impact. The driver of the Toyota, identified as 33-year-old Andrew Dempsey, was killed in the crash. The other driver was reportedly uninjured. Additional information was not available.
