What Happened

Virginia State Police are investigating a crash that injured several people at Route 360 in Keysville, VA on February 12th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 10:07 p.m. According to investigators, a logging truck exiting a private driveway to turn onto Old Kings Highway was struck by an approaching Toyota Scion. reports indicate the trailer of the truck was in a southbound lane of travel during the turn at the time. The Toyota was struck by a Cadillac Deville behind it following the initial collision. reports say an 11-year-old child in the rear of the Toyota died in the collision. A second chid, age 9, as well as 30-year-old Devon Parish were both seriously injured. The driver was identified as 31-year-old Jamie Mosley, who was also seriously injured. A passenger in the Cadillac, 49-year-old Stephan Robertson, also had serious injuries, reports say. The driver, identified as 45-year-old Tyrone D. Morton, had less serious injuries. The truck operator was allegedly uninjured. Additional information was not available.
