Virginia State Police are investigating a crash that killed two people at I-295 in Hanover County, VA on July 29th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2 p.m. A Ford Excursion operated by 76-year-old Edward E Austin collided with a dump truck during a lane change. The Ford was forced from the road into a road sign and the trailer it was towing detached and overturned. Austin and a passenger, 73-year-old Lorraine P Austin, both died at the scene.
