What Happened

Virginia State Police have identified two people that were killed in a crash at Route 220 in Henry County, VA on January 26th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:10 a.m. Investigators believe a Hyundai Sonata was headed northbound when it veered from the road into a guardrail for unknown reasons. It then overturned and one occupants, 24-year-old Breyner Dominguez, suffered fatal injuries. A second occupant, 21-year-old Espana Ezequiel reportedly was able to exit the vehicle and was on foot nearby when he was struck by a passing tractor-trailer. He also died at the scene. Additional information was not immediately available.
