State Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at Brewers Neck Blvd in Carrollton, VA on October 10th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:15 p.m. According to investigators, a box truck stopped in a travel lane to make a delivery to a home nearby. The truck had active emergency lights flashing when a moped operated by James Edward Bailey collided with the rear of the truck. The impact caused Bailey fatal injuries. The driver of the Box truck. 49-year-old Rodney Jones, was charged with improper stopping in the roadway.
