What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a motorcyclist at US 29 near Lovers Ln in Warrenton, VA on December 16th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3:15 p.m. A tractor-trailer is said to have performed an unsafe lane change causing a motorcycle occupying the lane to take evasive action. This caused the motorcycle to veer from the road and overturn. The cyclist was ejected from the vehicle and suffered serious injuries. Police say he was taken to an area hospital for treatment. The tractor-trailer involved reportedly did not stop and left the scene.
