What Happened

Frederick County Sheriff’s Office officials have information on an accident that killed a man at Woodfield Ln in Round Hill, VA on November 9th, 2021. Police are saying it happened around 10:55 a.m. As 37-year-old Nathaniel Lee McCoy was working outside a home as part of a construction and landscaping crew, a truck on site hauling cinder blocks, began to roll away. McCoy became entangled between the truck and its wheels when investigators believe he attempted to catch up to the truck to stop it. He suffered fatal injuries in the incident. Police were working to determine how the truck, which ended up coming to a stop 150 yards east of where it started, was able to get away.
