What Happened

State Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that injured at least one person involved at I-95 near Petersburg, VA on July 19th, 2023. Police arrived at the scene around 8:30 p.m. Investigators currently believe a box truck left the roadway for unknown reasons before overcorrecting and colliding with a concrete barrier. The truck also hit a Honda sedan while two other vehicles hit debris from the collision. One person involved was hospitalized with suspected non-life-threatening injures.
