Montgomery County Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at Virginia 8 and Childress Rd in Montgomery County, VA on September 28th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3 p.m. A tractor-trailer collided with a passenger car before veering from the road into a house.  Police were not able to say how that collision occurred. The driver of the tractor-trailer, 55-year-old Ronald Stewart Bolt, died at the scene. The driver of the car and an occupant of the house were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
