What Happened

Virginia State Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman at I-81 in Wythe County, VA on November 30th, 2024. Officials say a Chrysler Town & Country stopped in a right lane was rear ended by a tractor-trailer that veered from the road, overturned and caught fire. Following the impact, reports claim two occupants of the truck fled the scene on-foot before later being found and arrested.
