What Happened

State Police have identified the person killed in a collision on I-85 in Dinwiddie, VA on February 5th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:30 a.m. A vehicle operated by 25-year-old Trevino Bell was reportedly stopped on the right shoulder for unknown before it began to pull back onto the highway. Investigators say the vehicle pulled into the path of a tractor-trailer and was struck, the impact causing fatal injuries to Bell. The truck driver was not injured.
