Virginia State Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at I-81 in Botetourt County, VA on August 17th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 3:31 p.m. Investigators say a Dodge Ram operated by 61-year-old William Lawrance Towns was slowing for traffic ahead when it was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer.
