What Happened

Washington State Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at I-205 and Mill Plain Blvd in Vancouver, WA on July 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3 a.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck operated by 31-year-old Edwin Chicas was headed northbound before colliding in the rear with a BMW operated by 59-year-old David Porter. The truck overturned into a left lane before it was struck by a Chevrolet S10 operated by 35-year-old Dagoberto Vargas Perez. Chicas suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The condition of the other drivers was not immediately known.
