State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 395 in Kennewick, WA on September 26th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:30 p.m. Investigators say a passenger vehicle operated by 27-year-old Kevin J Hinojosa was stopped in a southbound lane of the US 395 following a collision with another vehicle. While stopped, the vehicle was struck by a semi-truck operated by 27-year-old Suleiman Mohamed. Hinojosa suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Police indicated charges were pending against Mohamed.
