What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured multiple people at Hwy 97 in Blewett Pass, WA on January 8th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 1:45 p.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck headed southbound is said to have attempted to pass a second truck that had become jack knifed in the southbound lanes. While doing so, the vehicle allegedly traveled into oncoming lanes before colliding head-on with a passenger car. Reports say the occupants of the passenger car, identified as 56-year-old Marnie G. Gonzalez, 58-year-old Roneo P. Gonzalez, 64-year-old Charlie C. Megia and 64-year-old Rhodora A Megia, were all hospitalized with injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
