Renton Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that injured several people at Maple Valley Hwy in Renton, WA on December 2nd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 6 p.m. Investigators believe a dump truck involved in the collision may have lost control while on 140th Way SE before colliding with multiple vehicle stopped at a red light. Those vehicles include five cars and a Metro bus. The driver of the bus was the only occupant and was hospitalized for observation. Five others were also treated for injuries, including the dump truck driver, who was seriously injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
