What Happened

Washington State Patrol officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Route 26 in Othello, WA on March 7th, 2022. Police say the incident involved a pair of commercial trucks colliding around 5 a.m. One, operated by 70-year-old Victor Garza, was reportedly headed westbound while attempting to pass a second truck. The second truck, operated by 37-year-old Miguel Gomez, was reportedly attempting to turn left onto Beverly Burke Rd as the other attempted to pass on the left. Both vehicles veered from the road as a result, striking a power pole and causing injuries to Garza. Additional information was not immediately available.
