What Happened

West Virginia State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 50 in Parkersburg, WV on August 11th, 2021. Police say the incident involved a Chevrolet Equinox collided with a West Virginia Department of Highways mower. The impact caused the Equinox to also hit a dump truck before catching fire. A passenger, 71-year-old Kathryn Reynolds, was unable to escape and suffered fatal injuries. The driver, 73-year-old Richard Reynolds and another passenger, 25-year-old Ashley Stevens, were both injured and hospitalized for treatment.
