What Happened

Raleigh County Sheriff's Office authorities are investigating a collision that killed two people involved at I-64 in Shady Spring, WV on April 23rd. 2025. Police say the incident happened around 5 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer is alleged to have left the roadway before crashing through a guardrail and down an embankment. Officials say both the driver, identified as 33-year-old Macdiel Labrada and 41-year-old passenger, Daikel Perdomo, were fatally injured. Other than suggesting speed and possible brake failure as factors in the crash, authorities did not have additional information available.
