What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that injured bicyclist at County Hwy K in Kenosha County, WI on April 20th, 2023. Police say the crash happened around 10:05 a.m. According to investigators, an eastbound semi-truck and bicycle collided when the bicycle allegedly traveled into the path of a the semi-truck. The bicyclist, an unidentified 53-year-old Grayslake woman, was hospitalized with serious injuries following the collision. The semi-truck operator was cited for operating with a commercial vehicle license. Additional details have not been made available.
