What Happened

Lake Hallie Police are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 53 in Lake Hallie, WI on March 31st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:20 p.m. Investigators say the incident involved a pickup truck and semi-truck. The cause of the accident was not yet known, however, investigators say a commercial truck landing on a concrete barrier and a pickup truck collided with debris in the crash. Two people in the pickup truck and the semi-truck driver were all treated for minor injuries and the truck driver is said to be issued a citation for failure to maintain proper control a vehicle.
