What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed two people at I-90 near Sparta, WI on September 13th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 10 p.m. A Subaru Outback is said to have veered from the road and collided with the rear of a semi-truck that was disabled in a shoulder. The Outback traveled under the trailer and caught fire, killing both occupants at the scene. They were identified as 24-year-old Jace Scholler and 27-year-old Hannah Hood.
